Process
I built the drawing in layers, starting with the skull, then moving into the figure, background, and final refinements. I used mechanical pencil and graphite shading, blending with tissue to create soft transitions and a smooth, dreamlike texture.

Details
I used small technical choices throughout the drawing to control texture, contrast, and atmosphere. Each detail was built slowly with pencil pressure, tissue blending, and eraser highlights.
Hair highlight
Lifted highlights with the edge of an eraser, then refined the hair strands with pencil.
Soft blending
Used tissue blending to create smooth texture.

The final drawing brings together the soft pencil textures, detailed rendering, and quiet atmosphere developed throughout the process.
